Google has expanded its real-time conversational search feature, Search Live, to users worldwide, marking a major push into voice-first and multimodal AI experiences.

The rollout, now available in more than 200 countries and territories, allows users to interact with Search in real time using voice and camera, moving beyond traditional typed queries.

The expansion is powered by Google’s latest voice and audio model, Gemini 3.1 Flash Live, which is designed to deliver faster, more natural, and multilingual conversations.

This update lets you talk to Search, ask more questions, and use your camera to get answers about what you see. It’s in the Google app on Android and iOS. Tap the “Live” icon under the search bar to start.
