PANews reported on February 12th that Coinbase will launch spot trading for Aztec (AZTEC) and Espresso (ESP), adding AZTEC-USD and ESP-USD trading pairs. The specific opening time will depend on liquidity conditions and will be available in supported regions. Simultaneously, Aztec and Espresso will also be available on coinbase.com, the Coinbase App, and Coinbase Advanced, with institutional access possible directly through Coinbase Exchange.

Coinbase had previously announced that the AZTEC perpetual contract (AZTEC-PERP) would launch on the same day , opening to retail users in select regions. Coinbase also released the Ethereum ERC-20 contract addresses for both assets and warned against transferring funds through other networks to avoid asset loss.
