Meta Platforms (META.O) surged about 10% due to its fourth-quarter results, first-quarter guidance, and full-year capital expenditures exceeding market expectations. Microsoft (MSFT.O), on the other hand, saw its stock price fall more than 9%, its biggest intraday drop since 2020, due to market concerns over slowing growth in its cloud business and record-high capital expenditures.
