PANews reported on December 26th that the Uniswap protocol fee switch proposal, UNIndication, passed with an overwhelming majority. The voting results showed approximately 125 million UNI tokens in favor and 742 against. After a two-day lock-up period, Uniswap Labs will burn 100 million UNI tokens and enable the v2 and v3 fee switch mechanism on the Ethereum mainnet, beginning the burning of UNI and Unichain fees.
