Hyperliquid hits golden 0.618 Fib level offering a strong buy opportunity

Hyperliquid fell to $26.64 in the last 24 hours, marking a decline of 8.29%. This price level aligns with the golden 0.618 Fibonacci retracement, often considered a critical support level by market participants. Many traders are now watching this level closely as a possible entry area for new positions, given the broader market correction.

Hyperliquid Hits 0.618 Fibonacci Level

According to CryptosBatman, Hyperliquid has drawn strong attention from traders after aligning with the golden 0.618 Fibonacci retracement level. This point is widely recognized as a key technical support zone that may take the price higher. The drop comes during a broader crypto market correction and increased trading volume, which now stands at $375.8 million in the last 24 hours.

Analysts are watching this level as it has been a key technical indicator in previous market cycles. Reaching the 0.618 Fib level has often aligned with buy-side interest, especially during wider market resets. Some traders view this drop as a possible entry point for new positions, but volatility remains elevated across crypto assets.

Bitwise Files Updated ETF Application

Meanwhile, new developments surrounding a Hyperliquid-based exchange-traded fund (ETF) have added further attention. Bitwise Asset Management recently submitted an amended ETF filing, which now includes the 8-A form, a requirement often preceding product launches. The filing also specified a management fee of 67 basis points and confirmed the ETF ticker as $BHYP.

Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas noted that such filings typically indicate a product launch is close. He stated that the inclusion of the 8-A form usually signals an imminent rollout. As a result, interest in Hyperliquid has increased among ETF-focused investors and institutions, who are closely monitoring further updates from the firm.

Market Competition and Infrastructure Shifts

Alongside the technical and regulatory news, industry observers have also commented on changes within the broader perpetuals market. As of Defi_Edward explained that although Hyperliquid led early due to advanced infrastructure, other platforms have since narrowed the gap.

He noted that the current distribution of market share reflects a shift toward a more competitive environment, rather than a decline in Hyperliquid’s standing. This environment may encourage further product and infrastructure development by the platform.

Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future

Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future

The post Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. “It’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress,” writes Pipes. Getty Images Washington is addicted to taxing success. Now, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is floating a plan to skim half the patent earnings from inventions developed at universities with federal funding. It’s being sold as a way to shore up programs like Social Security. In reality, it’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress. Yes, taxpayer dollars support early-stage research. But the real payoff comes later—in the jobs created, cures discovered, and industries launched when universities and private industry turn those discoveries into real products. By comparison, the sums at stake in patent licensing are trivial. Universities collectively earn only about $3.6 billion annually in patent income—less than the federal government spends on Social Security in a single day. Even confiscating half would barely register against a $6 trillion federal budget. And yet the damage from such a policy would be anything but trivial. The true return on taxpayer investment isn’t in licensing checks sent to Washington, but in the downstream economic activity that federally supported research unleashes. Thanks to the bipartisan Bayh-Dole Act of 1980, universities and private industry have powerful incentives to translate early-stage discoveries into real-world products. Before Bayh-Dole, the government hoarded patents from federally funded research, and fewer than 5% were ever licensed. Once universities could own and license their own inventions, innovation exploded. The result has been one of the best returns on investment in government history. Since 1996, university research has added nearly $2 trillion to U.S. industrial output, supported 6.5 million jobs, and launched more than 19,000 startups. Those companies pay…
