Crypto wallet MetaMask has announced the launch of prediction markets integrated directly into its mobile app.

The new service, created in partnership with Polymarket, allows users to “trade the future” by betting on the outcome of real events, from sports and politics to cryptocurrency rates.

Prediction markets work like an expectations exchange: users buy and sell positions on how events will develop. These can be questions such as “Will the price of bitcoin exceed $100,000 in December?” or “Will the Lakers win the NBA championship in 2026?”

MetaMask emphasized that such markets “often provide more accurate forecasts than individual experts or polls” because traders risk their own money and reflect the market’s real beliefs.

In the app, the service works directly from the wallet: funding is available in one touch through any token on any EVM chain, without complicated registration or KYC.
