President Donald Trump once again attacked late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and called for him to be taken off air as the comedian mocked the president’s handling of the Epstein files issue, less than two months after Trump expressed frustration over Kimmel’s return to air after a controversial week-long suspension.

In a post on Truth Social early on Thursday, the president wrote: “Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS, on the air?”
Trump also asked, “Why do the TV Syndicates put up with it?” likely aimed at owners of ABC’s affiliate stations—two of whom had kept Kimmel off air in September, even after the network ended his show’s suspension.
Trump once again alleged “totally biased coverage” by Kimmel and wrote: “Get the bum off the air!!!”
It is unclear what triggered the president’s sudden outburst against the late-night comedian, as Kimmel has been regularly targeting and mocking Trump over various issues in the past few weeks.
Kimmel has not yet publicly commented on Trump’s latest attack.
What Did Kimmel Say About Trump And Epstein In His Monologue?
On Wednesday night, Kimmel dedicated nearly his entire monologue to targeting Trump over his handling of the Epstein files issue and the black-tie dinner the president hosted for Saudi Arabia’s de facto leader, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Kimmel began his segment, saying he has been “following the path of Hurricane Epstein…it is a category 5,” and added: “We are now one step closer to answering the question, ‘What did the president know? And how old were these women when he knew it?’” Kimmel mentioned that the legislation ordering the Justice Department to release all files linked to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein had been passed nearly unanimously by Congress, but the segment was recorded before Trump signed the bill into law. Kimmel quipped the Congressional vote was “such a landslide” that the president “might actually be able to rebury the Epstein files under it,” before adding: “The Senate today sent the bill to the White House. Now, usually when Trump gets a bill, he declares bankruptcy and doesn’t pay it. But this one, he’s going to have to sign.”
