From May 22 to 24, 2026, the second edition of the Polynesian Islands Crypto Summit (PICS²) will transform Tahiti into the epicenter of Web3 innovation in the Pacific. Backed by the Government of French Polynesia and hosted in part at the Presidency, this unique event blends high-level institutional dialogue with a vibrant, free public festival in one of the world’s most breathtaking paradises: turquoise lagoons, white-sand beaches, and authentic Polynesian vibes.

Web3Oceania: High-Level Institutional Conference in Paradise

At the core of PICS² is Web3Oceania (#W3O), a groundbreaking regional conference scheduled for Friday, May 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. under the grand pavilion of the Presidency. Some 200 to 250 high-level officials are expected, including the President and Minister of Finance of French Polynesia, representatives of the French State, the Bank of France (IEOM), local banks, and government delegations from Pacific Islands Forum nations.

For the first time, a comprehensive overview of Web3 in the insular Pacific will be presented, covering regulation, Bitcoin mining, stablecoins, digital identity, DAOs, and blockchain-driven economic sovereignty.
