Pump prices to surge anew on week of April 7, 2026

MANILA, Philippines – Consumers will be hit by even higher fuel prices as oil companies announced another round of major pump price hikes amid the continuing conflict in the Middle East.

This is the 13th consecutive week that gasoline prices have increased, while it is the 15th straight week that diesel and kerosene prices have risen.

Here’s a list of oil companies that have released their advisories as of Monday, April 6:

Petron

Effective 6 am on Tuesday, April 7, Petron will hike its prices of diesel by P18.80 per liter, gasoline by P4.90 per liter, and kerosene by P8.10 per liter.

Shell

Effective 6 am on Tuesday, April 7, Shell will increase its prices of diesel by 19.80 per liter, gasoline by P5.90 per liter, and kerosene by P9.10 per liter.

SEAOIL

Effective 6 am on Tuesday, April 7, SEAOIL will raise its prices of diesel by P17.95 per liter, gasoline by P4.90 per liter, and kerosene by P8.10 per liter.

Jetti Petroleum

Effective 6 am on Friday, April 10, Jetti will hike its diesel prices by P18.60 per liter, while gasoline prices will be raised by P5.40 per liter.

Oil industry sources earlier said diesel prices may soar to nearly P150 to P170 per liter this week as pump prices are expected to rise by P17 to P19 for diesel and P3 to P5 per liter for gasoline. Diesel and gasoline prices ranged from around P50 to P60 before the US-Israel war against Iran began on February 28.

According to the Department of Energy’s latest price monitoring bulletin, regular diesel prices in Metro Manila settled between P110 to P150.30 per liter in the previous week, while gasoline prices ranged from P82.50 to P105.60 per liter.
